Well, our Third State Board Meeting "Bedford Falls Love Affair of George and Mary Bailey" has come and gone. Let me tell you if you missed it, it was WONDERFUL! First off, we were able to have all of our sub-meetings on Friday evening and Saturday morning. The PPAC Open House was scrumptious. Sisters were able to spend the afternoon visiting with others, shopping, and/or visiting the George W. Bush Presidential Library near SMU in Dallas. Our Sunday meeting was filled with work on Standing Rules and preparation of Bylaws changes expected in May. The Texas Sisters in Garland accomplished so much!
Unfortunately, I do not have an update on Mary Wheatley. Some of you may have heard from those of us at the Board Meeting, Mary was hospitalized Sunday morning due to some cerebrovascular symptoms she was experiencing. As soon as I get an update, either our Chaplain, Laura Miller or I will forward on an email to keep you all apprised of her condition. I am hoping that “no news is good news”. I am certain she is well aware that her ESA family is thinking and praying for her!
